How patients use the directory

Dentist Near Me is a directory of dental practices in Australia. People use it to look up practices and check basic details before they get in touch.

• Browse by place or type of care. Patients can browse by state or territory, suburb or category.
• Search by name or postcode. Patients can look up a practice they already know, or find practices near a postcode.
• Check the details. Each listing shows the practice name, address, map pin, phone number and website link.
• Contact the practice directly. Patients phone the practice or visit its website. The directory does not take bookings or enquiries, and it does not collect or pass on patient details.

Claim or add your practice in 3 steps

Many Australian practices already have a basic listing, so look for yours first.

1. Find your practice. Search by practice name or suburb on Find a dentist, then open your listing.
2. Claim it, or add it. On your listing, select Claim this listing and tell us your role at the practice. If you do not have an account yet, a free one is created for you when you send the claim, and your password is emailed to you. If your practice is not listed, add a new practice.
3. We check, then you edit. We check each claim and new listing by hand before it is approved, and we may ask for information that shows you manage the practice. Once approved, you can sign in and edit the details your listing level includes.

Listing levels

Every practice can be listed for free. Premium and Featured add more detail to your listing. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Featured is paid placement and is labelled as Featured. If a visitor chooses a different sort order, results follow that order. A listing level does not indicate the quality of a practice or the care it provides, and it is not an endorsement.

Before you choose Premium or Featured

1. Claim your listing first. You need an approved claim to sign in and add your photos, description and opening hours. If your claim is still being checked, you can still pay; we switch on your paid level once the claim is approved. If we cannot approve your claim, we cancel the plan and refund your payment.
2. Tell us which listing. The Choose Premium and Choose Featured buttons open a secure Stripe payment page. Enter your practice name and the link to your listing on Dentist Near Me there, so we know which listing to upgrade.
3. We switch it on. Our team switches on your paid features within 1 business day after your payment, or after your claim is approved if that comes later. We email you when it is done.

Billing and cancellation

• Prices include GST. Premium is $49 per month and Featured is $99 per month, in Australian dollars, including GST.
• Billed monthly, renews automatically. You pay for each month in advance, starting on the day you pay. Your plan renews automatically each month, on the same date, until you cancel. There is no minimum term, no lock-in contract, no set-up fee and no cancellation fee.
• Cancel at any time. Cancel on the billing page: enter the email address you used when you paid and Stripe emails you a sign-in link. You can also email us at hello@dentistnearme.com.au. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. Your paid level stays active until then, and you will not be charged again.
• Part months. We do not refund part months, except where the law requires. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
• Card details and invoices. Use the same billing page to update your card or download past invoices.
• After a paid level ends. Your listing returns to the Free level. Your practice name, address, phone number, website link, category and map pin stay listed. We keep your photos, description and opening hours for 30 days, so they can be restored if you choose a paid level again in that time.
• Changing level. To move between Premium and Featured, email us at hello@dentistnearme.com.au. We will confirm the new price and when it starts before we make the change.
• Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your paid listing, so you can cancel before it takes effect.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. A tax invoice is emailed for each payment. Invoices are issued by JR Marketing Group Pty Ltd (ABN 90 606 960 721) and include GST.

Questions from practices

Who can claim a listing?

The owner of the practice, or someone authorised to act for it. We check each claim by hand before it is approved and may ask for information that shows you manage the practice.

What does it cost?

A Free listing costs nothing. Premium is $49 per month and Featured is $99 per month. Both prices include GST and are billed monthly until you cancel.

What happens after I pay?

Stripe emails you a receipt. Our team matches your payment to your listing and switches on your paid features within 1 business day, or after your claim is approved if that comes later. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Queensland public holidays.

Will a paid listing bring more patients?

We make no promise about views, enquiries, patient numbers or position in results. Featured listings are paid placement: they are shown ahead of standard listings in the default order of results and are labelled as Featured.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. Paid levels are month to month and renew automatically until you cancel. Your paid level stays active until the end of the month you have paid for.

How do I cancel?

Use the billing page, or email hello@dentistnearme.com.au. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for.

Can I correct wrong details without paying?

Yes. Claim your listing, or email us at hello@dentistnearme.com.au and tell us what needs to change.

Can I ask for my listing to be removed?

Yes. Email us at hello@dentistnearme.com.au and tell us which listing. We will review the request.

What can I put in my description and photos?

You are responsible for the accuracy and compliance of the information you supply. Regulated health services must follow the National Law and the Ahpra advertising guidelines. Do not include testimonials, claims that a service is better than others, or promises about results. Photos should show your premises and team, not treatment results. We may edit or remove content that does not comply.
